Use your stock na wiring harness for your hopefully s4 motor. It was pretty easy.

But before that run a search for HAILERS and Harness, and study.

i think all jdm engines are s5's. and when you say use n/a harness u mean the dash harness right? but even if my engine is a s4 wouldnt the plug to the ecu be different?

That's a terrible idea. Why would you even think about using the harnesses from a RHD car in your LHD one? Can't you see how much grief that's going to cause you?

If you using an S4 engine, leave all of the harnesses where they are and install S4 Turbo ECU, MAP sensor and AFM. The Emissions harness requires a few small wiring changes. If you using an S5 engine you need to do all of the above plus swapping an S4 front cover, OMP and TB onto the S4 engine (or just premix). This has all been covered in great detail in several recent threads.

No. Japan had S4 and S5 FC's just like the rest of the world. They made them remember...

No, he means the Emissions harness, which is mostly for the EFI system. There is no "dash" harness; I guess you mean the Front harness which does the front half of the car (engine bay and interior). All the harnesses are shown in the wiring diagrams which you should be studying before you do anything.

Go look at the omp on your new engine and see if it's just like your old engines omp, OR if it has electrical connections. If electrical it's series five and your going to have to think about replacing the front cover or taking some other action.

Also look at the ECU and tell us what the numbers are that are written on its top. An example would be N333 or N332 if it's a USA series four but might be something else like N318 or such for another version.

IF it's a series five engine/ECU etc then visit Rotary Resurrections site for clues on what to do.

correct.

if you got a s5 jdm motor your in for the long haul.

better start looking for new pumps covers unless you wanna run premix, if it is a s5 in fact.

please state what series your motor is, you would get alot more help if you did

Yup. Just chunk the EM harness and ECU that came with the engine and install series four ECU and use the stock na harness. OMP issue has to be addressed though. Only the Shadow knows what engine he has.
