Smile JDM questions

I'm thinking about buying a JDM engine for my S4. I swear I saw a FAQ on the difference between US and JDM engines but can't find it. Or I just imagined it.

I'd like to know what to expect as far as differences and if an one has some insite that would always be great.

I'm already planning on getting a pineapple racing water jacket tester. From what I have read from you guys they don't test the jacket. Just compression.

fuel rails are backwards.

JDM engines spin to the right hand side, USDM spin to the left hand side.
JDM engines are mad tyte, USDM engines are not
JDM engines are easier to drift

That is what I found different with my S5 TII JDM. I would guess the S4 would be similar.

My fuel lines did not need to be reversed. Diagram shows I ran new fuel lines to the fuel rails after removing the rats nest.

If JDM spin the other way wouldn't the intake and exhaust ports need to be on the other side? I really hope your kidding.

@Lunch, I run block off plates, the rest looks pretty much the same. I'm really only planning on using the block. Do you know if there any different?
