Angry jdm motor help!!

yes, I have searched and i've found no help of this(i'm slow at reading). If I get a jdm motor(with tranny) on my 88' turbo, can I use te stock ecu, and wiring, plus all the other stuff that an engine and tranny don't work with? I want to know if it will be plug and play, or will I require other things? I'm getting the motor most likely from osaka motors and their weird thing says 87-91 so I wouldn't know if i was getting s4 or s5.( would it be a lot more work if I got an s5 from them?

They are the same and will work identicaly basicly. Osaka lists it that way but you specify when you order.

NO! (s4 to s4) (s5 to s5) unless you want to redo your whole harness. Tell then you want an s4 or 88 turbo engine. When you call to order keep switching from s4 to 88 so they get the point as to what series and year you want. triple check they have it right before they ship it!

If you want plug and play the only way to go is to stay s4 all the plugs are different pin configuration (smaller connectors) on s5 and the OMP is electric not mechanical but if that was the only issue you could just premix.
