JDM fuel lines + charcoal canister line
JDM fuel lines + charcoal canister line
Hey Guys,
So I’ve swapped in a JDM S5 motor into my car, my questions is regarding the fuel lines on the driver’s side of the engine. What I can see are 3 hard lines right next to the oil filter location, from what I can figure out they are for the following:
1, Fuel In
2, Fuel Out
3, Charcoal Canister
I think I figured out that the middle one is the fuel-in. But the other 2 I am not too sure about, I ran it in one configuration and the I had the motor running and then I had fuel spewing out of the canister. I just would like some confirmation that this is being done correctly.
Thanks in Advance,

Great diagram. I'll use it when I take out my emissions. But according to the diagram I have my fuel in line inthe wrong place. Can someone please confirm the order. I just don't want to **** upthe engine becuase of this.
Fuel lines on a JDM motor are switched when compared to the U.S. counterparts regarding the send and return lines. If by chance you had them mixed up it would prevent the car from starting properly and that is all.
Why did you disconnect C (charcol canister to fuel tank hose) during your swap? If you have fuel spewing out of the charcol canister then something is obviously hooked up wrong.
The other two are simple, the one from the filter (farthest forward of the 3 lines) goes to the lower/primary fuel rail, and the other line goes to the secondaries (closest of the 3 nipples to the firewall).
If you would like I can go take some pictures of mine, my car is up on stands already. They might be of more assistance.

Hey LunchBox,
I was looking over your diagram and had a couple of questions:
1, I only counted 4 points to plug up, in the legend it states 7 points
2, Attached to one of the throttlebody nipples that are not plugged off (the one right below the boost gauge) there is a line that leads to something that looks like it diverts into 4 other lines. Is that that air supply line for the OMP? and can you confirm that the bottom nipple is the correct nipple to use?
Thanks a lot the diagram is really helpful!

I am to doing a jdm s5 turbo II swap. So the fuel line off the fuel filter goes to the primary fuel rail and then the line coming off the secondary fuel rail goes to the return fuel line . Right
IIRC you can choose any vacuum line off the UIM. The turbo pressurizes the intake air and in turn all the vac lines coming off the intake manifolds.
