JDM Computers Vs US CPU
Ive read that there are problems when using JDM CPUs when completing a TII swap. if I use a JDM engine and US CPU can I still use the wiring harness that came with the JDM Engine???

There was someone who had problems using that N374 (JDM Kouki FC) ECU with a US-spec *instrument cluster*.
They solved it by using a J-spec instrument cluster.
Weird.

Harness confusion...
I'm almost there guys...I'm ordering my TII engine and transmission today...in rotoryresurection it states that you need a LEFT Hand drive wire harness...so does this mean I shouldn't pay the extra $150 FOR THE HARNESS...also will the us harness plug into the JDM ECU without modifications??? They are charging me an additional 150 for the ECU...should I just check ebay for a US ECU and harness???...

the wires are all the same US and JDM I have dissasembled both US and JDM harnesses and the wire colors and positions are the same. I have used stock computer and Power FC on both harnesses.

Yes, but you will have to extend the entire main engine wire harness to the passenger side of the car, big pain in the ***, not worth it. Not to mention the junction plugs.
If you bought an S4 block your asking for problems. Just wait till the shop says $1200.00 more then quote for wiring, you bought the wrong series engine, well hold your car till we get the funds.

Im wondering if CPU's are interchangeable on N/a motors to a TII and vice versa. I have read that ECU's are. So my question is, can I use a 1986 CPU in a 1988 TII ?
