jdm 13b's

I know this has been covered probably 100times, but my s4 jdm 13bt has the primary rail on top, and the secondairy rail on the bottom,my s5 jdm engine has the primary rail on the bottom, and the secondairy on top. If their both jdm engines why is the s4's fuel rails switched around? Did ne other countries make 13b's other than us and japan?

You're a bit mixed up. The primary rail is always at the bottom and the secondary rail is always at the top. The only difference is which is fed first, and hence where the FPR and PD are. JDM engines have the secondary rail fed first; US the primary first. As for why, that seems to be a complete mystery...

And all Mazda rotary engines are/were made in Japan, nowhere else.

There is a Russian company that makes a licensed copy of the 13B, which from what I have seen is identical other than the housings don't say Mazda or 13B.

NSU owns the license, however they do not produce any production motors.

Shouldn`t you rather say : NSU (AUDI) owns patent rights and Mazda and other manufacturers are/were producing motors under licence?

LADA in Russia was making wankel engines of its own design, very few informations available on the net, but something seems to be very common with Mazda's 13B

It seems to be that s5 jspecs have the FPR on the top rail (which is how we're used to seeing them) and s4's have them on the lower rail. But yes, why this is I do not know.

First part is just general stuff about rotary engine principles, hamsters powering it etc...

VAZ (big russian car maker) does have RPD development office to work on rotary engines. These engines are used in special cars made for KGB and similar forces.

VAZ-2105, VAZ-2107 a VAZ-2108 are the cars which even now are in small series (100 units a year) produced with rotary engine. VAZ - 415 rotary engine is being tested in VAZ-2110.

Rest is technical data u should be able to find out whats what (all metric)

It seems they are only playing around with NA versions, but got into making 3 rotors as well. Tested in airplanes as well.

But then I don't have a high opinion of any American built cars either.
