HKS springs, AGX shocks... someone should have warned me...
I finally finished the install of the HKS super form springs (or super sports, not certain but part is # 1713-sz001) with KYB AGX's all around, new front control arm bushings, new front strut tops, and adjustable rear subframe connector. I took a simple test drive around the block(5 mile block
) not too hard, just to make sure things weren't completely out of whack. I hadn't driven it since until this thurs to go for an alignment. I set the fronts to 2 and rears to 3 figuring it'd be a fairly acceptable ride. It seemed so, so i left them there until after the alignment. On my way home from said alignment, I happened to take a turn back to my subdivision at a fair rate of speed to see how the handling had been affected. It's about a 45 degree turn, from a normal size lane to a pretty narrow road which I try to hold completely on my side. I used to go between 30 to 35mph attempting a quick turn in and always had a slight push in the front making the turn use most of the available space. Well, at a tad over 30 I almost went off the road. On the inside. Scared the crap out of myself, since my turn almost went beyond 45 degrees and into the grass at the edge of the road. I've found that there is nearly no noticable push in the front end, the car sticks like glue, there's no more skipping the rear end over small bumps in turns, and it is way to much fun. I need to completely re-learn the limits of the car. If I would have known what a huge difference the new parts made, I'd have done this a loooong time ago. So, to sum up. If your thinking about what to do on your car, and haven't yet decided, springs and struts will definitely give you a grin from ear to ear.

Some nice oversteer is great, just learn how to use it, ha ha. Don't drift into a curb!
If you want less oversteer for now you could soften up the back shocks / stiffen up the fronts, but I'm sure u know that already.

I got the springs off ebay of all places. The cheapest I could find this set at a shop was $254 plus tax and shipping or maybe no tax, but all told would have been around $290. I happened to be on ebay at the right time to find this set, since I have never seen them after or before for that matter, and got them for the bargain basement price of $152.... which included shipping.
New in box too, go figure. The seller was HKSoutlet. I still don't know how I got such an unbelievable deal. And yes, I do like them. At first I thought they looked too low, but most people hardly seem to notice the change. 28mm front drop and 13mm rear, fairly accurate I guess.
