JB weld---6th ports?

I've recently seen a few posts where people have mentioned something about JB welding something with the 6th ports. What exactly are they talking about?

Shut up adam all in fun man..... check this out, this is a GREAT reason not to use JB weld. I would use Locktite for holding the sleeves in place if that is what you needed, JB weld is junk.. period! It didnt hold up to the temp it said it would and FUCKED my engine up.. well. .just read the thread.

For one, many FB owners are cheaper and/or generally spend less on their cars than even FC owners. Ive had a real problem selling more than a few of anything for FC's. There just arent many people willing to spend the money for it.

BUT, if you want to prove me wrong, and youre more than welcome to, go right ahead. If there is a large enough request, Im would definately start making FB parts. Its just that in the past Ive had no luck with it

You guys dont understand. He J/B welded something into the sleeve. Not J/b weld the sleeves to the engine. Thats what im talking about. And J/B weld does work you just have to make sure the surface is clean , free of all grease and dirt. Then it bonds great. All you do is coat the sleeve in J/b weld making sure not to put to much so it doesent leak out into the engine. Then press it in and let it sit for 24 full hours. Trust me the sleeve WILL NOT MOVE. I mean if carbonated sleeves can stop the sleeves from moving wile using your hands directly on those actuators than its not moving with J/B weld between it. Because J/B weld holds better than carbon deposits I garantee it. I once tried pulling the sleeves on a 91 coupe with 140k miles on it and I couldnt even with a small rope looped around the rod with me pulling on it from outside the engine. It will stick.

i wouldnd use JB Weld to hold together a lamp, ive seen JB Weld fail 10 times too many on important things, like having to do with an engine for one. my advice, dont use JB Weld for anything important inside the engine, if your using it for the TB Mod it will work fine, but nothing more serious on the engine, it just isnt good enough
