Cool jacobs wires ok for turbo?

I was shopping for some parts on ebay and while looking for some spark plug wires noticed the accel wires only like $12.95, but then I saw wire wound jacob's wires for $24.95 but it doesn't mention turbo in the application list. are the wires the same? actually what wires do you guys suggest, when i watch my engine running in the complete darkness I can see some arching every now and then on the factory ngk wires (don't know if they have ever been changed). the car has a slight high rpm missfire (new ngk platinum plugs!!!). so I want new wires which ones you guys suggest from experience, the ngk wires look better but probably just because of the silver colored and thicker connections. BTW im not paying $100 dollars for some wires that don't add power that I can feel.

I just got new wires and just for the hell of it tested the resistance on them, they are higher resistance than my 18 year old wires

what kind of wires did you get? and i believe that too, but my car has a high rpm missfire and I can see some arching thru the wires in the dark. anyways, are the n/a and turbo wires the same? at my work (advance auto parts) I can get 8.8mm Accel spiral core wound wires but they are custom cut ones. anyways, somebody got advice for me

i have accel wires and they've been alright but i'm gonna get rid of them because they're the only yellow thing on my car i'll probably get the red MSD 8.8's i have them on my 87 grand national and they work great

Turbo and Non Turbo spark plug wires are the same.

Jacobs or Magna are just fine, but wires like Accell or Nology, or MSD or NGK typically have a 20k-30K mile lifespan at best.

Basic wires such as Delco or off brands often found for less than $20 at many auto parts stores are worth only half of what you paid.

so icemark...you saying that jacobs are better than ngk, nology, accel, etc.? I will certaintly get them then, they're only $25 dollars. and my car doesn't have a really noticeable missfire but it feels like it gets to 6.5k rpms and (as if I let off the gas quickly then pressed it again) stutters. thanks alot

bear (bare?) in mind that the Jacobs wires sold on ebay are universal fit wires, that the seller has trimed to fit and assembled to work on a FC. They are not the custom made Jacobs wires that you would buy at a speed shop or from jacobs.

With that said, I saw a set last week from him, and they actually do look to be crimped and assembled correctly. Just not sure how they would compare to the jacobs factory manufactured wires for the FC.

I've had a REALLY bad experience with Accell from advance. I had a set last fall that fell off of the leading spark plug while I was driving! this was less than a week after I got them. I exchanged them hoping that I had gotten a bad set. I hadn't.. the next set didn't even make the ride home.. I exchanged them for a set of better ones, but shortly after that my 7 died, and hasn't really ran since...

I would avoid them Accell.

I just ordered some Bosch 8mm from Autozone for $25. Do you think that these are better or worse than Accel or Jacobs?
