Jacob's rotary ignition

I have a Jacob's rotary ignition on my 88 vert. It came with the car, but is not hooked up. I am looking for someone who knows how it it supposed to be wired in. I tried the website and emailed them for instructions, but no response.
Thanks.

No, it is the Jacob's Rotary Pro Pak. I am sure it came out before the FC1000. I downloaded the instructions for the FC1000, but the rotary is different.
Thanks for the help though.
I appreciate alot more than SirCygnus' response. I wonder if that is his response to every post? I actually have a legit question, instead of the generic "my car overheats, what do I do?", or "how to I make my RX-7 faster?". Those posts actually get responses. Mine gets a "search for it", which I did and the only post I found is a little vague.

for the FC1000, does it ONLY hook to the leading? or to the leading and trailing coils

yeah I did. but I jsut thought it was weird. I always figured the trailing plugs did more of the BOOM work than the leading!

Ok I figured out the Rotary Pro Pak. It ONLY hooks to the leading, which by the way do about 99% of the work. The trailing just help to clean up the burn.

My vert already had the wiring done for the Jacob's, so I just plugged it in and ran the power and ground wires. It ran like crap. So I examined the PO's wiring. It looks like he crossed the wires from the positive and negative poles on the coil. I have to pull the cap of to be sure, but that it what it looks like. Anyone know if it would run that way?

J-Rat, no problem. I got it figured out. The po wired it up wrong, and didn't catch his mistake. Must have figured it ran like crap and it was the Jacob's ignition. So he just disconnected it. Duh!

Ok, now I do need help.
I hooked up the wiring the correct way, and it still runs poorly.
Rat, on yours is there a small jumper wire on the unit. On mine there are a number of terminals on the side of the pak itself, and there is a small jumper wire on two of the terminals.
Thanks

Yea, looks the same. I am going to check to make sure it is grounded correctly. Otherwise, I am starting to think it may be a bad unit.

What do you guys think of the jacobs ignition system? Worth it at all or is it just a waste of money?

i would say that refers to CDI in general, not just jacob's, which i have found to be more expensive. If you find a jacob's cheaper, great for you. Other options include msd 6a or crane cams hi-6.

Fricken waste of money compared to some of the other options out there.
MSD 6A = ~$160
Crane Cams HI-6 = ~$200
Mallory Hy-Fire VI-A = ~$140

Rat, I can't tell if it's on or not. I don't see any type of light or anything. Am I missing something?

I have a Jacob's because it came with my car. Otherwise I would have bought an MSD. That's what I have for my first gen.

When you start the car, you should have 2 lights on the top of the box... I am starting to think your either miswired, or the fuse blew..

Used Rotary Pro Pak.. $50...
