its not fast now
i just got my '87 TII back together after replacing a FPR and puting new insulators and injector o-rings on and now it seems like its not running on one rotor. the only thing i could think off is that one of the primary injectors came unpluged. because it idles smooth so no vacume/intake leak, checked all spark plugs, and good compretion on both rotors. so i dunno.

if its a 87 TII make sure you check your resistor paks... i think you have low imp injectors make sure those are working (the resistor paks) i have seen those not work and the car seems like its on 1 rotor. Check that, check for leaks (i assume you have) make sure they are seated properly, check it all over again sometimes a loose clamp or something can cause a loss of pressure, just speaking from experience here.

s4 cars pre 87.5 i think have resistor paks for the injections, they are low imp injectors and need the resistor paks to work correctly. Not exactly how you would test, have you checked the factory FSM it should have some info on where they are and how to test for them.

i was talking to some of my friends and one said that i could have a messed up fuel filter, another thinks it could be a spark plug that wont fire under compretion.

that's really good advice- after trying everything under the sun, we checked the resistor packs and sure enough, one of the wires had no continuity to one of the secondary injectors... after 4k rpm, no power.

Why do you think its running on one rotor? Lack of power? Also, where is it running bad, all over or just high rpms? If its idling smooth then it doesn't seem to me like it would only be on one rotor, but I could be wrong. When mine was on one rotor it idled like crap and sounded really bad. I would check your plugs, then check the wires going to the injectors and see if they are good, plus make sure they are plugged in.

the reason the your motor idled like crap is because of the lack of compretion on one rotor which unblanced the engine because of the lack of resitance that the compretion creates, i ckecked all the plugs and there all firing like crazy.
P.S.
Theres no power any were on the rev range, high, low, and middle have nothing.

i still need to know if my car has high or low inpedence injectors and any other things that could be wrong causing it to run on one rotor. (no power on the rear rotor)
