Intro. 2 sevens in the family

Just thought i'd introduce myself here, seeing as this is where i'll probably post most often. My name is Ian, live in colorado, and I own a turbo II and an 83 limited edition. Both are fairly stock and at the moment the turbo II doesn't run. I bought the car for 800 bucks. The guy had no idea what he was doing. He put a brand new motor in it and never hooked any wiring up. He wondered why it wouldn't start. I just got my hands on the service manuals i needed so ill get it running soon hopefully (unless there is another underlying problem).
I got the old motor that was in the car too. Supposedly the apex seals are shot. Who knows though. If i get it running fairly inexpensivly I'll look into fitting it into the 1st gen.

I'm fairly new to rotary powerplants, but have appreciated them for sometime now. Hopefully i cant turn both these cars around quickly. Until then, great site. I've already learned tons here, and hopefully i can add my intelligence to the list in the future. Later

Ian

Welcome, nice find! Next time you find a killer deal like that, send it over to Oregon, send me a PM welcome to the club.
