Tito thats strange. I totally see what you are saying now. You might want to take a dremel tool and hone out your arm rest a little because I also think it might be just a tad warped from water/moisture/heat. If you notice the stock plastic panel is the exact dimension of the arm rest cutout but when its pushed in it cannot go all the way down without bowing. Dremel will fix that easy.

My passanger side window switch is the same way. It was stolen before I got the car and when i replaced it it fit really snug. Over time I kinda squezzed its way up a few inches on one side so I hit it with the dremel and removed a little yellow foam and now its all good.
But thanks for scaring the **** out of me. I hate making something twice and trying to keep track of who's car has what series panel I would have just passed on the whole thing because it would have been more trouble than its worth.

yes i will agree most have been covered but no one ever makes this stuff. And if they do the quaility/workmanship is so poor it looks worst than APC pep boys stuff.

I plan on making this stuff because I want to upgrade my interior just as much as everyone else.

yeah we already explored this route once and found that it would not really work because you have to bend the plastic a little to get the apillars in to place and I didn't want them to attach with screws so we kinda said forget it. And the whole guages in the apillar thing is so played out its not even funny. I see to many NA guys rolling around in Civics and all other types of cars with oil pressure and fake boost guages and it makes me sick.
You can have someone else make that stuff. It will not be long before APC has one available in that CF "Look" plastic.

rotax would be killer. Dremel is good as well. But I do want to warn you that the buttons don't sit flush they are beveled/stepped in. Your best to get better switches from autozone that will mount flush or relocate what you need. If I were you I would move whatever you need to the drivers side door panel. Right below the ac vent is a flat part that stuff can go where its out of the way. Also when I rewire mine I will do a write up and show how.

I am a huge rotozip fan. Dremel is cool but rotozip will cut anything with ease

well guys I have held these as long as I plan to because I want to get started on another project so I am no longer holding these for anyone. Last project funds the next and so on and so forth. They are open to the public including ebay and I expect they will not last to long.

Tito thanks, I think you would agree its a much needed improvement. If you ever want to add any go fast items that require a switch (water injection, nitrous) any of those cool things just make sure you buy the high end switches and they will look good mounted up on that panel. Just use a drill bit on the backside to drill a hole to get the wires through. I am working on getting my vert top and water/meth injection to mount up now.

yes i know there is a difference in arm rests. One has a button on the front that flips it up and one has a button on the side but the panel size insert was the same size for both s4 and s5 models.
