Intrax springs 1.75drop with 16inch 40 profile's...

it should look pretty clean.. i like the low look with 16's. how much tread on the tire? if it's wearing out get some 225/40. that would look even better

the rim is 7 inches right?

either way with intrax springs it'll look good

Previous owner of my TII had intrax springs installed. I had 17's with a 45 profile. Looked nice, drove like ****. Kiss your handling goodbye after you install these things. Body roll like a beeyatch.

Steve

P.S. The intrax springs WILL give you the drop you want, I can guarantee that.

Kiss your handling good by? After I installed the intrax on my old 88 vert the handling was GREATLY improved. I wish I had them on my new T2.

No. I'm describing the springs. I'm going to guess that your old 'vert springs were shot to HELL, because the intrax are NOT designed with performance in mind. Hmm, that's important. Let me repeat that.

INTRAX SPRINGS ARE NOT PERFORMANCE SPRINGS.

They're specifically designed to get the car LOW, and to have a comfortable ride. Nothing else. If you're expecting a performance benefit from these springs, I highly suggest you look at some other brands. Peformance-wise, Intrax are **** IMHO.

Red face

wait a sec. that comment i made about the intrax having a 1.25 drop is a mix up. i was thinking of the B & G spring set.

intrax= about 1.75
B & G= about 1.25

has anyone tried B & G? they might make a stiffer spring..

Don't need to, I own a set. I've driven on them with Tokico Illuminas. The body roll is terrible. It's extremely difficult to control the weight transfer on the wheels with these springs. If you don't like my opinion though, take it fromCorksport. Now don't get me wrong, the quality of the ride is fine, and if you're not super picky about handling, then these springs are for you. But it's been my experience(especially at autox) that these springs don't hold a candle to suspension techniques or other available brands. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
