Intrax Lowering Springs...

Anyone have any experience with these springs?

Good? Bad?

I am thinking of getting myself a set, because of the price, and the drop is a little more than the other brands.

Thanks

most people don't have these springs, they are more for straight lowering than performance as the rates aren't much higher than stock springs. better make sure you have some good struts with a drop this drastic or you'll be blowing them left and right. KYB AGX is a good economical solution...drive around and set them so that the car isn't bouncy on everyday bumps, that bouncing yuo see on all those slammed hondas means that the drop is too low for the strut to deal with as the strut is already too compresed and not stiff enough to keep the springs movement under control. good luck

yea i was thinking of getting agx's, hrmm, but if this doesn't really affect the performance, i guess i'll look into a set of Racing beats, or Eibachs.

ARe these better choices?

I have had 2 sets of them, and I think for the $ they are a good investment. they lower the car just enough to make it look very nice. I have had no other experience with any other spring so I can only tell u what I know about the INTRAX. I'm using the MONROE SENSA-TRAK struts. they seem to be ok. a little cheaper the KYB. and TOKIKO

the car will handle much better than crapped out stock springs but please get upgraded struts with these springs, you will wear your stockers out way too fast with these springs. the car will feel a lot better just because you are putting in fresh parts and better still bc the ride height and roll resistance is completely changed. I'd save for KYB AGX's and the ground control coilover conversion...around $700 for all

welcome to the world of GC coilovers. choose ANY spring rate and CHOOSE your drop... if you want a 1.5" drop, then you got it. they are about $400 for a set. they are worth it. and as soon as i get the money next month i'm gonna get em. along with the AGXs.

i wouldn't bother with intrax. they are too soft.

yeah, just do a search on this forum and the suspension forum.

they are like coil-overs w/o shocks.

go here. http://www.ground-control.com/?D=de5...9a04dd9029b3a5

call them and ask them what it's all about. great people.

and no, just because the honda guys get them doesn't mean they are being 'ricey'. it's a great upgrade.

I recentrly got the KBY AGX adjustables with Suspension Tech. springs it's a nice combination.. I recomend both products. I got the AGX for $400 set of 4 and $180 for the springs. The springs are not progressive like the eibachs so the ride is a little rougher. They do lower the car 1" which I think is nice and in good taste.
