hey just a quick question...my friend and i were arguing what size subs those are...he says 15...lol....i say 10 or 12...what are they..thanks man i love the set up

 

If I had to guess, I'd say 10's, possibly 8's

 

I think 10s, you can fit an 8 in the shock tower.

 

He has 10's. I like seeing a rear strut tower bar. Not too many of those floating around! And as for the manual seatbelts...I also hate you.

 

yeah why is it that the US versions of FCs get the nice automatic seatbelt while we canadians are unfortunate enough to get manual belts

 

they are 10's and I just put the rear bar in today. but since I've driven the car twice in the last 4 months I have no idea what difference it made. All I know is it handles alot better then the chev station wagon I've been driving

 

What brand is it? I have been looking at a Cusco one that is triangulaed to the rear deck. Looks pretty cool, and only costs like $215.

 

it's the cusco C/F one. I bought it used for less then a new alum one so

but it doesn't seem too strong. I can stand behind the car and grab on and it flexes when I push/pull but the alum one doesn't. I guess flex that way wouldn't effect the side/side that it's for though... I don't know. Its hella light though

Scott, where'd you get that gauge pod (2)? What's those things where the air vents normally are?

 

yeah ! i made a copy of my rear deck cover ,went to home depot bout some plywood ,black carpet and just traced the old one .............sorry guys no pics ,i dont have a camera!

 

Mazda sold a factory one for 86-88. I can get the aprt #, but i am not responsible if you get a heartattack after u hear the price.

it is off a 90' GXL and to ship it I will put it in a big *** box and send it out with lots of peanuts in side.

 

I won't be home for another week so hope you don't need it soon but I can tell you that it is in perfect condition.

ok, this is a bit off subject. So 8" subs drop into the shock towers? I put my yellow car back together with no radio and now and im having second thoughts. Im thinking about running a component system up front with 8"'s in the shock towers.
