1) Yes I need to do a compression check...will do this weekend (hopefully).

95% of the time my car runs great. It is a 89' vert with a street port.

Every now and then, very randomly, when the car has been driven around for some time, when you stop and start the car again within 30 minutes or so, it runs very poorly.

The idle will be erratic, if you actually try and drive it, there is no power whatsoever...the car basically feels like it is bogged down with about 5HP.

If you stop the car, and try and restart it 2 or 3 times, it starts running fine again.

Current issues aware of: small vacuum leak I am still trying to find and a hole in my exhaust which is being rectified next week with a new exaust.
