Interest in Vert rollbar/hoops

Hey guys. I now work for an off road specialty shop and we have more than enough ability to build custom cages.

I know the vert guys are always looking for rollbars and seat hoops (like Z3's) so I am gauging interst for them to be made.

Coupe cages to come

Check out www.eoronline.com to see some of the buggies and cages we build.

Thanks,

DJ

Sign me up. I really need a 4 point bar at least. The top must remain functional...

Any idea on price?

All I need is a car to use for mock up and fitment checks. I have a coupe, but that work will be after we get vert systems out there.

Keep in mind...anything is possible.

Bump.

Prices will be very reasonable for these cages, and we can ship a full cage say for a coupe in pre-cut formed pieces that would just require simple welding to install.

This thread is a "feeler" to see if there is interest. If significant interest is found and the thread poster wishes to produce a product, he must register on the forum as a vendor by contacting either BOOSTD 7 or Jason.

Also, bumps are not allowed in the technical forums.

That would be great Trevor. If you want to set up a time or date to bring the car here, that would rock. My car is always here, but as soon as I get my DD I can leave it to mock up some cages for coupes.

The targa section can be removed and placed in the trunk so the "fold down" shouldn't be so bad. Can I get a discount for bieng a guinne pig? lol

The plan is to make a cage for coupes that will retain all the fatcory plastic, but you can kiss your dash demister grills goodbye if you want anything more than a 4 point!

We want to make both a full bar and dual hoops for the verts.

Trevor, of course you'll get a hook up for being the guinea pig!!!

Now bring it on!!

FYI- we will not get started on my car untill maybe next week because we are ALWAYS busy. Stay posted.

Curious what your mounting plan would be for dual hoops? This probably goes without saying, but obviously for it to be of any real value, it needs to mount to more than just bolts through the floor. Others I've seen have been merely cosmetic...

We could make two different kits, well several actually, but in reference to the mounting of the hoops, they can be possibly bolted in for show purposes only, or a kit that they can be structurally welded in for true safety.

Would be interested in anything for the verts as well as long as it was structural, not for show. I don't necessarily want them to be welded in -- I'd still prefer a bolt-in solution, but it needs to be to the frame or something that actually adds safety instead of takes it away.
