Interest: Custom Exhaust kit for FC

I got to thinking the other day. Not many people have access to pipe benders, and lots of exhaust piping and can make exhaust kits.

So the other day, i bent myself up a new exhaust.

2.5" with the middle cat intact to a 2.5 in and out Magnaflow with a 3" tip.

Sounds fantastic.

What i'm seeing is if anyone is interested in having custom exhausts made, flanged, packaged, and shipped.

I can use just about any type muffler, catalytic converter or none, weld in a wideband O2 bung... Fully welded (MIG) no leaks, and using aluminized piping.

I have access to a GTU and my 10AE for mockup (Turbo or non)

I can bend all the way up to 3" (no more than 3) however, with 3" it is compression bending so it does leave a little ridge... not the ridges you'd think... I'll show a pic tomorrow.

Would anyone be interested in this?

Sounds interesting. How cost effective would it be to someone buying local? I ask this question, because someone who would be interested is not yet ready to shell out $500 +/-
for an RB or similar kit.

I had actually thought about getting one of those little pipe benders from harbor freight and a couple of 8 foot X 2 1/2" chainlink fence posts......

Later,
Bill

We could do 4", but it would be with mandrel pre-bent piping, and it would be slightly more expensive.
