Sounds like a good idea, it would certainly be nice to replace my scratched up stickers. Also, it would be kinda cool to have an "86 Base" badge on the fender where the Turbo II or GXL badge goes.

Ok, heres my rough CAD drawings (had to do them from scratch) Copyright me, dont steal em. lol.

1st one is my badge im gonna use for front and rear center, this one still needs some work.

2nd one is my rx7 with a rotor idea, the rotor and writing will be solid, the side seals and center of the rotor will be cutout, and the other markings on the rotor will be etched. lines between letters are to hold the thing together while putting it on the car, then can be clipped off (i'll make em only a couple thousandths thick.)

3rd is for those 1.3 people... this is just what i thought would look good

I'm open to opinions and feedback on all 3 designs, plus whatever other ones you guys think i should do.

I have a few more details to work out, then i'll get some samples cut out and get pricing.

Ok, the document converter screwed up my drawings some, but you can get the basic idea.

first one is the flying m, its pretty close to what i drew

2nd one is the 1.3T, the font is way different on the real drawing, but the rotor is about right, it looks WAY nicer with the right font

for the RX-7 badge, it will be the same rotor, but rotated so that a side faces right, and the RX-7 is the same as in the flying m, but bigger, sticking out to the right of the rotor

I was going to do something like this with my company logo minted onto a brass coin. I was thinking that would look great.
