How does the inlet/outlet face? If they face outwards, it's definitely not going to fit. The FC only has 26" maximum of space between the frame rails, so 27" is too wide.

Thats about the same size as the greddy core that comes in the vspec kit...it fits, but not without some cutting, and losing your front bumper reinforcement.

I see a Mitsubishi logo on that core don't I?

I have a 27 x 8 x 4 Spearco and the inlets face towards the firewall (northside).
27" is a perfect fit up front and you shouldn't have to cut your reforcement bumper, however with the inlets where they are you'll have to position it like in your photo with the inlets on the bottom and run the tubing under the lights.....Most guys I see run it this way. When I bought my Spearco I wanted the shortest route and by having the inlets face the firewall on the north side of the IC I only have 2 bends.... Its alot like Alf's set up was...I had mine first though
