Intercooler prob maybe?

Intercooler prob maybe?
so i have a 1987 turboII with all emissions removed with the s5 turbo setup and a bov cheap apexi gt style system turbo back,no cats
1the cluster light thats says heat fan has been on since i got the car,not sure where i should look
2 i took off the smic and was lookin at the throttle body and somebodys hack job wiring (She ran before i tore it apart). i replaced a wiring harness(not stock part of the hack) for an electric fan. i put everything back together and replaced alot of wiring. then i started up the car and she was running fine, til i revved it then it blew the smic off cus i forgot to tighten it and she stalled. put it back and she wouldnt start . ive tride all the deflooding procedures , i have spark , and fuel plenty of it .any suggestions im out of ideas atm.
