NY Intercooler Help

Hey,

I plan on putting a turbo on my 90 s5 na. I ve done a ton of research on turbo'd high compression motors. I plan on going with BNR stage 3-4, not sure yet. The car is going to be mostly street and see the track a few times a year.

My question is how do you go about picking the most efficient size for an intercooler?I want to get optimum hp but still be able to upgrade the turbo in the future. I am also leaning towards a v mount set up.

The greddy front mount should do you good. Don't go with the top mount, because when your running high amounts of boost it just gets heat soaked.

How much track time do you have under your belt? If it's not much I'd steer clear of more power for a couple of years. You'll save money since turbos eat through gas, brakes, and engine parts much faster than a non-turbo.

Increased torque comes with an upgraded clutch which are ****** in nyc traffic depending on your set up. I have had no overheating issues with my stock radiator and an ebay fmic even in shitty *** rush hour gw bridge traffic.

take lots of pictures during the build. I would like to see how this thing comes together.

So are you implying that regardless of the speed at which the car is moving if you're running big boost numbers your TMIC will heatsoak?
