Intercooler Dimmensions questions

I was looking at the Greddy Intercoolers both 2 row and 3 row and wanted to know the demmensions and the differences between the two. If anyone that has one could go and use a measuring tape for it I would appreciate it.

I know it's a pain in the *** and time consuming but you should just build your own end tanks on a spearco :-)

the greddy kit is pretty, but pricey. If i had to do it again, i would have bought a core and built one myself. Only thing i dont like about the greddy kit is the pipes are made for cars with everything under the hood, so the pipes bend all over the place.. lol looks funny because i have nothing in the way of the piping and its all bendy.

I haven't seen sites with core's and end tanks for sell. And how the heck would I know what I need and shoul d get?
I wanted to know the deminsions to start comparing them to some other IC's

EDIT ok I just ran into their site:

http://www.bellintercoolers.com/

But again what should I be looking for? What dimensions would be good for an application that is going to see street and track use(mostly drag but perhaps some autoX) and is going to be running a TO4 tubro probably a TO4B or a 60-1.

turbonetics owns spearco intercoolers, so www.turbonetics.com should pull up what some cores. Garrett is making some of their own now, they'd be worth checking out. I usually hear of people using spearcos for fmics though. Some of the more crafty ideas are the people that get things like 30x10x2 or some other really crazy size that comes off a postal truck that runs diesel fuel (I saw a 95 talon I think running one of them). I have the turbonetics book for a year or two ago so I have the listing of their core sizes and it looks like they make a 17.25x13x3.5 core which they say is good for 510hp. I have not done as much research as most of the other guys on core size but as far as end housings go, they should not be that big of a deal to you, you can either order them from spearco or you could have someone slap some together for you when you get it. A general rule of thumb is you don't want to go too big because you get a big pressure drop I think and bad response (correct me if I'm wrong) and if you go to small, you're limiting your cooling ability. Someone that has done this before, do you concur?

Lame attitude man. The world does not begin and end on the internet. Get a phone book or car mag, find some shops, ring some people, go and actually see people.

First off you aren't here to rate my attitude. My above statement you quoted where I say "And how the heck would I know what I need and shoul d get? " was something I shouldn't have put in there anyhow since it was a personal self thought. If you do not wish to help me you don't have to. But I am asking for those who do want to give me a hand in better understanding what kind of intercooler would best suit what I plan to do with my car. I don't know anything about intercoolers except the basic concept. I want people with knowledge that are willing to help to do so. I have been talking to BDC on IM's since two days ago and asking about what he would recommend for my application and goal. I also want to add that I don't live in an area where there are ample amounts of tunning shops MUCH LESS rotary tunning shops which would be the only ones I go to IF I would descide to go to one. Here all you see is "Chrome wheels for sale" and "Body kit shops" there is no performance scene outside of the domestic cars so please give me a break if I don't live in a huge metropolitan area where I can find a rotary shop every block. It is this kind of attitude from the more knowledgable people on the forum that makes the little guys like me more hostile towards the even more little guys. This is supposed to be a place with a welcoming, familiar, and friendly atmosphere. Although you do not flame as I have done and others do you provide a more subltle way of being callous which to me atleast is just as bad. Anyways think what you want of me but I really could care less if you don't want to help me learn then ok but please don't talk about my own attitude.

Man, one little comment and I get a lecture?

This is not the first time you're implied that you're only interested in online research. Ring some people up and talk to them. Get first-hand info from the people that sell, make or install intercoolers. You'll come out a lot better informed that from just reading websites.

You may not like what I have to say, but it is to help you.

BTW, you don't need a rotary shop to fit an intercooler. They all work the same. Get somone who's experienced with intercoolers, not just rotaries.
