only because the serach engine is not functioning quite right (according to others) you wont get annihilated for asking a quesiton that has been answered a thousand times.


Otherwise you would be yelled at to search first, read the archives, and read the stickies at the top that TELL you to read the archives, FAQ and search before asking questions.


Be glad. It can get nasty.

just get a cheap ebay AFM 3 inch adapter. then get a K&N filter. or you can spend $200 on a cold air intake that has aluminum filter block off plates from the engine heat.

GUHHH...

search "prelude intake"

i would not recommend using alluminum for your intake because it will retain heat much more than rubber. it may flow slightly better but in the long run you lose the power you gain by means of more air flow from the hot pipe.

just find a square --> 3" adapter and cone filter. make a heat shield.
