i just put a 89+ intale manifold and i have a vacuum leak
right where the manifold goes to the engine and i took it off about 3 times to try to fix the leak and it still has a leak but right now it is less than the other times and i just bought a new gasket not that long ago but i had it on with my old manifold and it idles at about 1500 rpm but the first time i had it on it idled ok at about 800rpm and it had a leak.what would make it go up to 1500rpm and how do i fix the leak. And what are the torque specs

I've had this problem before, after the third R&R of the turbo and intake manifold I traced it to a tiny piece of old gasket still stuck to the rotor housing. It was hard to see and even harder to get off!

You'll probably snap a stud/bolt. Haynes specifies 14-19 ft-lb, so I wouldn't go over 20.
