Insurnace--For better or worse?

Is the insurnace say...just liability (i'm 16 and my parents aren't rich) for an 88-89 Turbo II cheaper than a regular 2 door because its old and cheap? could you compare it say to an integra or 2 door civic. color: red. which is highest?

Sounds a little high.. I think I pay about $25/mo. But I'm not 16 anymore either...and we have two other cars and a house with the same agent...

I'm 20 and have n '88 N/A, it's just over $100/month (from Alaska too...). The car is registered in AK, but I'm going to school down here in WA, insurance isn't any more expensive since I moved though...

I pay 1300 a year for total coverage. I am also from Maine. I agree with the no emissions statement. The state does, however, **** with us big time. The inspection there is more intense and severe than anything I have heard anyone else tell of. Granted we have no emissions, but that inspection process is a giant pain in the ***. Also the sticker sucks big ***. Oh, and having to have a front plate or getting a ticket sucks *** too!

hehe you don't even want to know what I pay for liability only on my T2, it's way more than any of you. Doesn't help that I live smack in the middle of Brooklyn, NY. I don't get how 16 year olds can have a cheaper insurance than me, I'm 24 (though I've had license less than 3 years, I've had it longer than any 16 year olds!) and I have a perfect record... Ohwell, when time comes to renew I'll have had it 3 years so at least I'll get that discount

insurance is such a ripoff...it should be set up so that at max coverage you only pay for the value of the car, when you are done paying that, you dont pay anymore. insurance should be a service, not a business, like the library or something like that. yea im a communist arent i.. its all those stupid uninsured drivers faults
