Insurance Rate
I am about to buy a 88 FC turbo. I am switching from a 96 Prelude. I am just wondering if the insurance will go up due to the fact that there is no back seat??? thanks!!
probably less, the car is older. I called my people up (statefarm) and they were more than happy to help me out. This was when i was comparing insurance on my current car to an rx-7. Turns out the rx-7 would be cheaper.
and my current car is older, uglier and slower.

sure no problem.
First off you should know i live in Jersey. Highest insurance rates so i hear.
i'm 18, and right now i'm driving a hand-me-down. I absolutely dispise the car. The only thing its good for is the cheap gas. 10 dollars lasts 2 weeks.
It's an 88 VW Cabriolet. 4 Cylinder manual. Oh yea that baby is fast
plus it's white. ( i don't know if insurance has anything to do with colors, but it's my guess white would cost less than red.)
In case you don't know anything about it, it does have 4 seats.
The fact that it is a convertible must be why it costs more. Hope that helps you out.

First off, I am male and 18 (the two worst things to be for insurance). I have the advantage of being able to license my AE under my father's name as a pleasure use vehicle (which it is, just that it is not my dad that drives it). It costs 225 dollars for 6 months.
My '91 'vert costs 650 dollars for 6 months. I get the multi-vehicle discount and the good student discount (cuts the cost in half! Would be 1200 if I didn't get it). I don't know how it is so cheap for me - think about it, 1991 RX7 convertible being driven by an 18 year-old male. Oh well, no complaints.
