Insurance questions?

Ok, so is there any reason i should carry full coverage one my 87 t2. It would cost me 2600 a year, so i guess that is just stupid since the blue book value isn't much more that that. Do any of you have full coverage? Does the insurance co. give you the blue book value or what similar cars are selling for? Thanks.

well for 650 id get full coverage, but for me...i just have liability which is twice lamboz1's full coverage price for me here in california. with full coverage i would pay for the car's blue book value in a year or two and i dont see it being worth that amount. i mean if i had just saved the money i would have put into insurance then after a few years id have alot more than the value of my car...so liability only for me on this car.

You're lucky. My insurance company wants $5000 a year for full coverage for me(20, no accidents, 1 speeding ticket). That's $2000 more than I paid for the car, and it's not even turbo.
