Instructions on rebuild.

Ok i just aquired a manual transmission (2 actually) from 2 FC Convertables. I'm sure they have to be rebuilt...but i dont want to pay someone else to do it. So What i need are instructions on how to rebuild the transmission myself. If anyone knows a site where these instructions can be found or where i can aquire the literature for such an operation i'd be most appreciative.
Thanks
~Dave

Factory Service Manual and Haynes manual.

Both can be downloaded for FREE and are linked in the FAQ.

I'd suggest going through the instructions, and taking a look at all the pictures to give you an idea of what you're in for.

And rebuilding a transmission is very time consuming, and there's A LOT of **** in there. It's a good amount of work, man...

If it were me, I'd just let a pro do it.

Good luck.

James

The haynes manual can't be downloaded for free. Its a book you can buy at parts stores, and is a good thing to have. I don't think it has anything on how to rebuild trannys, either.
