hmm ok
few ?'s
could it be my fuel filter
wheres the aux ports
plugged precat ran fine yesterday
is it because i gutted my other cat, like i said ran fine then i decided to gut my cat underthe car so i did that took it for a spin and what car hesitates at full throttle for a couple of seconds then goes and then when i shift wam does it again even if i rev the car up then give it full throttle it does it

i just thought it was something like the ecu was adding more fuel than was needed because it took a second for the air to get through the intercooler but i never actually 100% believed that, i guess if someone chimes in we'll know for sure.
peace

air filter, fuel filter, dirty sock, dirty injectors, tps, malfunctioning (6PI) or VDI, incorrect ignition timing, plugged exhaust system, defective ACV or water thermo sensor, defective waste gate valve(turbo), defective air flow meter, intake air temp sensor and the list goes on....

check TPS first. Auxilary ports and injectors are not going to necessarily affect throttle response as much as produce a dead spot in your powerband.

I have no clue what's causing it but it sounds like some kind of throttle or airflow sensor. The O2 sensor adds fuel whenever too much O2 hits the exhaust. The delay you feel is waiting for the extra air to reach your exhaust (and the O2 sensor). For quicker response the ECU guestimates how much fuel to add based on airflow, throttle, etc.... unless one of the sensors that measure these is bad. I'm guessing you also get some popping from extra fuel when you let off the throttle, due to the same kind of lag.

+1 TPS.

Injector cleaner isn't worth the money....
I run 91 octane in my car and nothing but. That's the only way I know of to regularly keep your injectors clean...and it breaks up carbon composites.
That's the only type I get.
nothing lower.

check the engine grounds...mine was having some serious problems and it turned out my grounds were bad so my engine was hesitating and not mixing air/fuel properly because some of the wiring on my harness was bad and messed with the injectors
