Installing water temp sender

hey,
anyone know where I can but that piece where I can put my water temp sender for my aftermarket gauge?
It's like a metal tube that goes where the upper radiator hose.

Under the thermostat is definitely the best place. In the radiator hose is not.

yea I know I wont get readings until my thermostat p[en but I really suck at tapping that.
