Exclamation Installing Racing Seats....

I was just wondering, since the maker of my seats doesent have brackets available for my application....

i have these seats....



they have what appears to be universal sliders with them, what can i do to install them myself?, is there any place i can purchase brackets from?...

get a set of stock sliders from the wrecking yard, drill the mounts to fit your seats and install.

if you're worried about s4 sliders not compatible with s5, what's wrong with your current tracks? and as karack stated, it's best to measure the holes and drill your stock seat tracks. that's what i did....

more than likely your stock sliders will be too narrow or to wide to re-drill so
use a 1/8-1/4" piece of alumium to make a adapter. center the al. and drill
both hole patterns and mount the seat and the slider to the plate. re-install
in the car then your done!

NOOO!!!, i htought you were buying the seats off me?! well those do look nicer, probably heavier too. how much did you pay? i know it wasnt 100-120 a set.

s4 and s5s are the same i put my s5 interior in to my s4 and everything went in prefect except i had to do some wiring for the doors and one harness

i bought the seats for $300cdn, period....

i'll try and figure something out with them....

goto home depot and buy metal bars about 2" wide. Pop the OEM seat out measure across the stock sliders. I did a write up on how I did it. Heres some pics of them installed. **** have to fine them on here not longer have the pics.

i took my stock sliders and seperated the rails. drill some some plate steel over them
and sat the new seats over them.. one day when im feeling nice ill take pictures....actually when i can get a camera i will.
