Installing Header/Presilencer, Have a Question.
Hi.
I just got my Mindtrain Header and presilencer. They are awesome, even though I got them used, they're still in great shape.
I was wondering if any gasket material will work, or should I call up Mindtrain and get one of the gaskets that they sell?? I want to get my stuff on as soon as I can, and if regular gaskets will work I'll just use them.
I ask because I know that the rotary is so hot, and I don't know if regular gaskets can handle the heat that is produced.
Thanks,
Jeff

On the exhaust you do need specific exhaust gaskets. The manifold gasket currently on your car can probably be reused. The donut type gasket(if that is what your talking about) might can be purchased at an auto parts store but dont use regular gasket material.

congrats!
Congrats! i have a Mindtrain set up also the Gaskets Mindtrain sends you are the real nice heavy duty metal ones. Id call them but Im 90% sure they are the stock ones you get from a dealer for the block and the collector/manifold gasket.
