installed a zenki 240 lip on my s4 fc.

I picked up a zenki lip and installed it on my fc. The fittment is really great, especially for a car that it wasn't meant for.

To mount it I took off the stock black front lip and then placed the new lip on a taped it in place. Then i drilled holes in the underside of the bumper where the mounting points on the 240 lip were. Then i made some mounting bolts that had spacers in them to sit the lip where i wanted it.

It isn't quite the right colour but i didn't want to paint it untill i knew it wasn't gonna fall off

what do you think?

Its not bad for an alternative lip, like if you got it for $50 at the yard, I dont know if i would pay more than that.
Maybe if you cut out the grille, might look better.

seiously you guys don't like it? I think it flows perfectly with the rest of the car and makes the front look so much more "substantial" which i always felt was the s4's biggest problem.

It looks great!

Looks like it might need some tweaking. Any other plans for the rest of the body?

only thing i want to do is put some L brackets inside the lip to the botton sticks out a bit more than the top. Because of how it's mounted it pulled the botton under the car a bit more than it should be.

I'm trying to track down a wing... either stock or a wangan style one and i suppose some OEM style side skirts and painting the mouldings white.

dude, i think it looks pretty durn good - it is simple and it "flows" fine - you could put a little work in it with glass and bondo and make it look nearly OEM - the drivers side front looks a little wavy and the sides could be squared off and made straight - but nothing except expensive one off jdm parts fit perfect anyways - you made a good find and a nice addition to your s4(especially considering the lack of lippage available for the car)

p.s. many people tend to think exterior mods are "not good" when they are not quite finished yet but that's just because not everyone thinks in pictures and it is hard for them to invision the final product - that's not a bad thing, just different ya know

i say go for gold!(lol) - the seven cant lose anyways ; )

the origional posters pictures remind me of an older supra. But maybe that's just me.

I think the supra's body has to much .... body ... really thick heavy. But again most likly just me.

I don't know, I can't quite get into that groove. But hey, props for finding a lip that fits rather well!
