Installed Racingbeat "TB" exhaust: Question...?
This weekend we installed the Racingbeat turbo back exhaust on my TurboII. We have everything finished up and put back together. We also removed my air pump and installed the ACV block off plate along w/ a dual alternator pulley and another belt.
Since my BOV was running off the vacuum line that the stock BOV was running off of that was connected to the ACV plate, now that I don't have it... what is the best location to run it off of.
It currently isn't working and I just t-ed it into the vacuum line that runs from the map sensor to the manifold. Upon driving it, I noticed that it isn't working. Is this not a good source to run the BOV vacuum line off of?
What are some recommendations you guys have for me to fix this and the best place to run it off of?

drill and tap the ACV blockoff plate for a vacuum source, or use the very bottom nipple on the front of the UIM, if it's available. I had compressor surge from tee'ing it off the MAP sensor line.
alrighty thanks! I will look into that asap when I have some time tomorrow. When you are talking about the UIM nipples... are those the ones that are all close together?
hopefully this thread will help particularly my post #4
