Installed Greddy 24 RSPL Intercooler

I finally got a chance to install my Greddy 24R Intercooler over this past week. The install was pretty much a breeze but I havent seen anyone share tips about the RSPL intercooler, just VSPL's. I figured Id share some pics incase anyone gets this kit and wants to see pics of how the hotpipe from the compressor side of the turbo runs to the front mount since thats the only real main difference as far as installation goes. Ill also scan and post the instructions from Greddy as soon as I can get them uploaded. If anyone has questions on this kit just ask since I know I had a hard time finding install information for this kit. All feedback is welcome, thanks.

Here are a few links to the pics...

That is definately not the stock turbo. I have a HKS T04E. The Greddy 24RSPL Intercooler kit is made to bolt up to the Greddy TD06 or TD07 turbo kits.

Thanks man, well it cost me 1050 shipped from japan plus it was on backorder so I waited a few months...lol. Im assuming your friend is selling the older greddy kit that has both pipes run along the passenger side to the front bumper correct? If so, i've seen those kits go for 5-600 bucks so 1000 seems a bit steep unless its brand new. But then again it includes injectors.

Looks good. I hate how the greddy couplers turn a nasty grey color.

How can you tell the difference between the R spec and the V spec core?

Are the differences on the inside?

Yea, the differences are on the inside Javier. This is from the Greddy USA site...

"V-Spec. Core

Depending on the application and usage, some turbocharged set-ups require different flow characteristics. To add to our tuning choices, GReddy developed the V-spec. line of intercooler cores with an inner "Micro Grove Tube" design. This design was developed to allow for larger cores that give good cooling with a more free flowing internal core. This is ideal for applications with low to medium-high boost levels in factory turbocharged engines or normally aspirated engines with bolt-on turbo kits.

R-Spec. Core

GReddy R-Spec. cores feature a high heat-dissipating "Inner fin" design. This is ideal for medium to high boost levels on higher horsepower or upgraded turbo engines. The larger internal surface area provides superior cooling efficiency for radiating excessive heat and minimizing heat soak. Some R-spec. kits are labeled "HG" or High Grade; these kits feature piping and end tanks that have been hand-polished to a mirror finish for the ultimate in show quality aesthetics."

The 24R and the 24V are the same thing dimensionally.
So any hints with the 24V should also work for the 24R.
