injectors

hey guys, this has prolly already been asked like a million bazillion times, but the computer im using at present is pretty poo-y and it keep telling me that the search option is unavailible. so if you could just answer this one quick question with out tearing me too bad it would be greatly appreciated.

i need to know what kind of injectors are in my 1990 S5 turboed FC3S. high impedance or low impedance? and what colour top, my engine bay is kinda too dirty to see for myself. thanks muchly guys. also if i replace my injectors with 720 or 750cc injectors will i need to upgrade my fuel pump? will i need to get a fuel pressure regulator? or is just upgrading my injectors and adding a SAFC 2 enough of a step up for 15/17 PSI?

the stock injectors are high impedence 550's with a high purple ovular center. adding injectors as large as 720 or 750 will require a new pump for sure and you will need a way to control that fuel. SAFC maybe, megasquirt, if you've got the time and money.

^^ and the fuel pressure reg. is not a bad idea either. A combination of a rtek v1.7 and a SAFC ( if you find it used ) is also reasonable price wise. As for the fuel pump a walbro 255lph will do. One more thing 15 to 17 psi on the stock turbo ( I asume ) is not a good idea. You are out of the efficiency range of the stock turbo. 12 to 13psi should be the max.

good luck
