injectors

I've got a problem with no fuel in the rear rotor so I pulled the injector. Had a look at it and its got cracks in the pintle cap.
Just wondering if those cracks would stop the injector from firing at all?

No.
The pintle cap is just to protect the tip of the fuel injector.
It does not hinder the performance of the fuel injector, unless it's blocking the center orifice.
