Anyone seen a rotor like this?

I am doing the rebuild on my s5 TII motor, one rotor was good, one wasnt. So I got another rotor from a s5 TII. Anyways, the s5 TII rotors are supposed to have machined lines across the ENTIRE face of the rotor, while the s4's are smooth with pits in the compression divit. WELL, the one I got is kinda in the middle LOL, the faces of the rotor are completely smooth, but there is MACHINE lines in the compression divit, leading me to believe it is for a s5 TII because the s4's never had machine lines in the divit. Weighed out to 9.6 ounces, which is either s5 TII or FD. What do you guys think?

I used to think there was a correlation between how the rotor is machined and what year RX-7 / engine it came from, but Rotary Resurrection mentioned in his experience, there is no consistent pattern.

You might want to PM or talk to him about it...
