Injector resistors: if anyone else has done it
I got my car and, after putting a new engine in, found out that my original wiring harness(jspec cut) had no place for the injector resistor pack. I, of course figured it all out what i should do (thanks to the smart people on rx7club), i got 4 10ohm 10 watt resistors to wire into the harness. I didnt know which pins were which, so i used a testor to find that all of the pins on the left of the injector clip were grounds, and all the ones on the right are the hot wires.(or maybe the other way?) i had my friend sit in the car and test the pins on the ecu end of the harness and figured out which pins belong to which injector.
My first question: All the pins were on green wires: seems okay to me, is that right?
My second question: Is it going to be okay to mount those resistors under my carpet by the ecu with how hot they get? i built a little sheet metal bracket to mount them out away from everything.

I've installed two resistors onto my harness after I found that I had two injectors of the wrong ohmage.
Answer to first question: Yes, that seems right--check the FSM wiring harness section (it gives the color coding of the wires, should be similiar) as a precaution.
Answer to second question: Yes it is fine. I installed mine inline with the harness near the ECU and have no problems with heat or overheating.

cool thanks... i'm pretty sure the wires are right, considering that the only green wires were the ones i used- there were only four of them and i found them all by testing before i even noticed that they were all green. the only reason i asked is because they put them in the most ridiculous configuration.
