Injector Problem?

Im currently having a problem with my 87 TII. Ok,I bought this car a while ago so Ive been driving around for a while now but its not my daily so its rare when I get a chance to. The car is slow, hardly any power although car drives fine but it seems to hit a wall at 6500 @ WOT which is all Ive ever done at 6500. Finally get time to look at car this past saturday and realize there are n/a injectors in my secondaries and primaries. Not only that, they were absolutely disgustingly horrible. On top of that, the injector clips were falling apart and looked as though they had been spliced before. So, good thing I was at my friends house so we tossed in some stock TII 550 primaries and some 660 secondaries. Tried to start, no go..a guy that was there watching is was telling us he can test them by applying voltage directly to them and blowing through them to see if they work, ok we wouldnt be in any worse shape right? Turns out he could blow through one primary and not the other so luckily my friend had another TII injector. It started, and idled, awesome, lets drive it. I take of slowly hesitates a little bit but i fugured maybe just getting dirt or whatever out. But it doesnt go away. As I get into the throttle it stumbles like crazy so I figure its those crappy injector clips so after some different methods of getting the connectors to work I end up hacking some ok clips off of another harness my friend happened to have. The connectors arent very secure plus some of the terminals were easy to slip out due to stripping the wire off. So..after splicing the connectors on it runs a little better but still stumbles. It will accelerate from a stop ok if I dont get into boost but as it gets higher in the RPM's it starts to stumble and hiccup and at the 3800 transition it seems to smooth out and then stumbles at around 4500 and a few more times to 6k(I let off after that) but it pulls harder that it has ever before. I figure since all we messed with was the injectors and connectors it would have to be one of those two. I figure it wouldnt hurt to do some needed maintenance while I was at it to help me pinpoint my problems. Im replacing the fuel filter as I dont know when it was last changed, installing my walbro ive been procrastinating with, getting new spark plugs and ordered new injector clips and gonna put some Lucas injector cleaner through it. If I cant get anything to improve the injectors are getting sent off to be flow tested before I drop some more money on new ones. If anyone has any experience like this or know whats it might be your help is appretiated. Heres what Ive figured so far until I rule them out next weekend.
1-injectors dont flow properly or open fully or whatever can **** me off
2-bad ground somewhere
3-boost leak. never noticed it before b/c when it DID go into full boost it would cut
out but wouldnt it continue to stumble as boost continues to build?
4-injector clip connectors loose again from tugging on wires when splicing-ordered today
5-dirty fuel filter-picked up today
6-weak or shitty fuel pump-need to install my walbro
7-spark plugs-ordering today
Thanks for anyone sticking through reading this whole post whew!

To make along story short.have a 87 TII, had s4 n/a injectors b/c of previous owner, replaced with old (dont know anything about them)TII 550 primaries and 660 secondaries and put on some old injector clips that terminals were a little loose now car stumble it seems like when boost comes on or I give it more than 60% throttle and gets a little better at 3800 but still stumbles intermittently though the revs but car pulls harder than before when it doesnt stumble.

Do you have any way of controlling those secondaries? I would put 550cc all around and see if that helps. also make sure the clips fit correctly and use the little c clip on the connector.
