MS Mucho help needed!!!!

I have a 88 TII and my idle sucks. I have adjusted my tps and installed new plugs. I then started looking for vac leaks and my bac sounds like its all the way open and not cycling. I disconnected the largest hose that goes from the top of the bac to the i/c and my idle was rock solid. I know that this would cause a lean afr but if I lean out my idle it dies and if I make it rich it dies. So this is where the gurus are called upon.
