Injector connectors

Anyone have a diagram for the S4 87.5 Tii emission harness? The haynes manual had different colors for the fuel injectors and the harness doesn't have the resistor.

How about the two that goes with the water thermo sensor on the back of the water pump? Are those the primary or secondary?

okay, to answer your first question (a bit). As you're already aware, the S4 injectors are Low Impedance, which needs those resistors. The place that the "resisitors" hang out, in is in the distrobution block that goes to the injectors. On the passanger side of the engine bay, up along the front (near the coolant reseviour), there's a silver-block, with a 5 wire connector. One of the wires goes to power, the other 4 go to the injectors. that block is the reisistor.. If you have that block, then you can just use that.. if you don't have it (most likely), then you need to just put the resistor in-line, i believe. but a search should clear that up.

On a high impedence system, one wire on EACH plug will be Black/Yellow. The 88 manual is online for a download. Download the Wiring and look at the EGI Emission Control System. Save the download to your computer.

FRONT PRIMARY: BLACK/YELLOW and a light green wire.

FRONT SECONDARY: Black/Yellow and a light green/white wire

Rear Primary: Black/Yellow and a light green/black wire

Rear Secondary: Black/yellow and a light green/red wire.

With the key to ON, each black/yellow wire should have 12vdc.

Primaries on the short rail.......secondaries on the longer rail up above the short rail.

If you don't get 12v on the black/yellow wires, make sure the key is to ON and the ENGINE fuse is installed plus the Inj EGI fuse and Inj Comp fuse both in the engnie bay are good.

Go to this url and you'll see a high impedence wiring for the injectors. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=106394

This is a jpg of the low impedence setup with the solelnoid resistor: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=106364
