Injector Connector

I dont really know what to call them other than an injector connection, but i was taking out my injectors to have them cleaned and the old dry connections on my primaries have broken. The connector looks good but the little tab that lock them in place has broken off. Will this piece that has broken off hurt the peformace of the injector? Should it be replaced, and if so how would I do it? Thanks for any help

i got 4 new ones from autozone for 8.99 each, they might be source elsewhere for cheaper but the 87.5 and below TII have the key on the injectors in the middle(i only know turbo, it might be different for NA) and 87.5 and above have the key to the right. I have tried to find these type of connectors(key on the right) with no such luck and have searched on the forum only to find they can either be had by buying a new harness or getting used ones. All i did was buy the center key connectors and dremel out the space for the key. I actually did it last night and test fitted about 30mins ago and it works fine. There will be 2 wires to splice into the harness where the old connectors connected on the new connectors. The ones I got were GP sorenson and I love 'em since it has a push clip attached to the connector so I dont have to worry about using a screwdriver to get those clips which i loose off. I recommend getting these. Hope I helped.
