info or help wanted

i have a 88 na and seems to be running rich at idle and a 3000rpm it seems to hesitate until 4000rpm and then it seems to get a little kick of power

You should read up on the "sticky" notes at the top of this forum and check out the FAQ and such. The hesitation you're speaking of is very common and is known as the "3800 RPM" problem, which might be what's going on with yours. Do a search for "3800" and I am sure you'll come up with plenty of other threads that involve that. Good luck.
