well to say the least i was on my way home from a friends party i get half way down the street and here a pop. thought it was my exhaust but then im realizing that their is smoke coming from near the dash my gauges then proceed to dim and by this time im getting more smoke well . i get home and imediatley shut the car off i see that the little controller for my indiglo gauges had a hole where their is melting plastic on it now everytime i turn my headlights on the smoke comes back on . . wondering what should i do if anyone has ever dealt with this problem with the indiglo gauges? i really like the look of the gauges but i am considering to back to stock gauges someone anyone please help.!!!!!!

 

Take them out. The stock bulbs should Still be usable. I had a '91 that had those indiglo gauges, anytime I touched any part of the controller for them I got shocked. It was probably a hacked up install.
