Indicators Won't Cancel

Hey guys

I have searched for this on the forums to no avail. Basic problem is that my indicators don't cancel after I turn. Anyone got any insight into this problem? 87 model fc running an aftermarket bosskit to fit a nardi wheel.

Cheers

There is a plastic sleeve that links the back of the hub and the TS cancelling unit, has two nubs on either end.
Make sure it's properly engaged on both ends.

most likely this piece was broken during the steering wheel installation

+1

When I installed my MOMO wheel and hub, I had to remove the whole turn signal cancellation piece and grind the plastic down to make the hub fit on all the way onto the column without putting too much pressure on the sleeve and breaking the nubs (plus making it a bitch to turn). I had to grind the sleeve around the nubs as well as cut the nubs down.

When I re-read that it's confusing. Imagine taking out a 1/4" of the piece, that's what I did...

You can probably get just the plastic piece from Mazda. I know for my FB I got that part for like $5 or something.
