Nah! just go Haltech or something like that.... makes great power.

 

A Haltech (or any other aftermarket ECU) won't run the sequential turbos...

 

I am going with a boost up ecu from japan. have a contact over there who gets them for me. My dyno guy loves them he made 390 on a 13b t with justmore boost and downpipe stock injectors.

390hp on a 13BT with a stock turbo and just raising the boost? Or is that 390 in a different measurement form?

As for customers cars only one we have right now is robbs and im not the body guy here.lol tino needs to book me some work lol. Right now were puting to geather a rb 20 fast back s13 any takers on the car. it will be going for 5000

 

As for a write up. if any one wants this swap i am located in oly wa i will do it at the shop for a reasonable price.

 

Do what for reasonable price, just the bracket or the whole drivetrain+computer swap, and have it run right. ?
I liek this project hope it turns out, do a writeup b/c FC owners are cheap and would rather do it themselves. Nice way to try and reap this corner of the market though

 

It's not a very big market, and quite honestly there's not a whole lot of point to most FC owners doing it unless they have the parts laying around. The engine really isn't all that much better than the other TII's (except the reinforced rear-iron, and a few other things), which most FC owners will never stress. That and for what it cost to usually get the engine, brackets/etc, you could usually rebuild a 13BT with all of the above mentioned problems fixed for about the same. It is always quite impressive to see the twins in an FC though!

the swap would be a full engine transplant 3900 that in cludes motor ecu tranny the swap and 3 hours dyno tuning plus down pipetoo

so why r u guys not telling the sr swap guy all thats going to break on his car?

 

cuz we don't care about some guy doing an SR20 swap in his FC ..........a twin turbo swap is always asked about and we all say that is is more of a hassle than any other swap.....but since you have everything you should make a list of what is required to make it work for future reference.......to show that what we say is difficult COULD be a piece of cake.......so we await your write-up on this and then we will have a 13BT into an NA swap, the 13B-REW into an NA swap and the 13B-RE and 20B swaps into the NA......

 

Well I guess if I had an FD motor and an FC chassis laying around, I would TRY the swap

 

that's why I went turbo in my GTUs.....I crashed my TII.....and this chassis was 700 bux.........and here I am.

 

hmm keep this option open, would like to do this, but i gotta buy other stuff first, plus i'm in AZ so gettting the car up there to do the swap isn't a priority

 

Why in the world would you pay $4k just to have 250bhp? You could rebuild a 13BT with a crazy port, use a s5 rear iron, and have a nice fat turbo making twice that for $4k.

 

Yeah but then youd be like every one else. this is a rarely done swap

 

I don't know about you, but most people on here are a fan of how the car performs, not usually that it's slow and rare.

 

wait up I did this conversion from FC to FD back in 98 , turn the motor upside down on a motor stand put fc oil pan on drill and tap the center housing to fit 87 mounts bolt it all together, I been runing around for 6 yrs this way , maybe i did somthing wrong? RON
