I also disconnected the positive AND negative cables to my battery and the engine won't stop running!! Please Help!! LOL, I'm new to this car thing hahaha

Cool

I killed it, yay, no unplugging necessary, I just put it in reverse and let off the clutch.

Cars will continue to run with the battery disconnected, if key is on, but it plays hell with the regulator.
Anyway, E brake on, foot on brake, put it in 4th gear and let the clutch out.

WTF? U gotta love these cars Huh? I get a good laugh on here everyday at someone else's expense.... I wonder when it will be my turn AGAIN? (as I wait for the new alternator to be delivered & watch my battery charge up AGAIN!!) Just another day in the life of the "7"

I hope those suggestions were all jokes except putting it in gear and letting the clutch out.

I failed to notice on the thread where he specified it was a 5sp. Could have been an Auto.

wouldnt the fuses blow? i know he can just go get some new ones.. but wouldnt they blow.. the way i think of it as, is that the electricity will arc and blow the fuse.. but that just a guess.. anyone care to try? for um, scientific purposes?
